Betview Awards 2011 - Be the Best of the Best

Following the huge success of the 2nd Annual Betview Awards presented by Clare Balding at Park Lane's Hilton Hotel on 27th April 2010, the Betview Awards 2011 will take place on 29th March 2011. As the Awards continue to grow and demand for tickets becomes even greater, this year will see a move for the 2011 Betview Awards to the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane London, ensuring another prestigious location for an evening of 5-star hospitality.

The aim of the Betview Awards 2011 remains to recognise and reward the outstanding achievement, ingenuity, innovation, sheer hard work that is happening across the UK and ROI betting and gaming industry. The Betview Awards are proud of their place as the only event that celebrates the tradition and excellence of industry, which continues to thrive and innovate in spite of our tough current economic climate.

Winning a Betview Award not only provides recognition for yourself and your colleagues or staff but also shows your customers and the wider community the professionalism and social responsibility demonstrated by businesses and individuals who really are at the top of their game.

The range of Betview Award categories means that all the key sectors of this vibrant and ever-changing industry are included. No matter how big or small the company, whether you're on-course on the high street, the Betview Awards will provide the perfect platform to celebrate both individual and team success.

2011 Entries

There are twelve Betview Award categories now open for entries from companies and individuals in the betting and gaming industry in the UK and ROI.

MANAGER OF THE YEAR Awarded to the person who best demonstrates all round excellence in running his/her outlet.
TEAM OF THE YEAR Awarded to the team which clearly demonstrates that it works together for the common goals of the outlet.
NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR Awarded to the company which has entered the industry since 1st October 2009 and made the greatest impact.
INDEPENDENT OUTLET OF THE YEAR Awarded to the business with 4 outlets or less who demonstrate innovation, excellent customer service and all-round business acumen
CHAIN OF THE YEAR - UP TO 20 OUTLETS Awarded to the chain with 20 outlets or fewer which operates with excellence across all outlets and which not only enhances the customer's betting experience but makes a positive contribution to staff and the industry as a whole.
CHAIN OF THE YEAR - MORE THAN 20 OUTLETS Awarded to the chain with more than 20 outlets which operates with excellence across all outlets and which not only enhances the customer's betting experience but makes a positive contribution to staff and the industry as a whole.
BEST DESIGNED OUTLET OF THE YEAR Presented to the company which has created the most innovative, welcoming and functional outlet for staff and customers.
ONLINE COMPANY OF THE YEAR Awarded to the online company which has created the best online betting experience.
ON-COURSE BETTING OPERATOR OF THE YEAR Awarded to the individual or company which has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing the betting experience at track and course level.
RACECOURSE OF THE YEAR Awarded to the racecourse providing the best experience for the betting and racing public.
MOST CREATIVE MARKETING CAMPAIGN Awarded for the project or initiative which not only shows creative flair and originality but has been demonstrably successful in engaging its target audience.
BOOKMAKER OF THE YEAR This Award is the ultimate accolade awarded to the individual or company who has demonstrated all-round excellence as the industry's best of the best. Entrants for this category can be individuals or companies and can be on-line, on-course or on the high street but they will be expected to demonstrate excellence across all areas of their operation. This category can be entered directly but finalists across all the other Betview Award categories will also be automatically entered into this category,
Betview will also be awarding a LIFETIME AWARD for best industry contribution and welcome nominations for this Award from across the industry. Last year's winner Alan Ross was a worthy winner of this Betview Lifetime Award for a career dedicated to promoting the interests of the trade and we'll be looking for a similarly heavyweight contender in 2011.
